Amber graduated cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While at Thurgood Marshall, Amber served as Chief Justice of the Board of Advocates. She also participated in the competitive mock trial program, representing Thurgood Marshall in the National Black Law Student Association’s Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition, where her team was named Regional Champions. Because of her dedication to advocacy, Amber was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a prestigious organization for those dedicated to advocacy.

Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to attending law school, she also obtained her Master of Business Administration. Amber is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, and the Dallas Bar Association.
