Biography:

Dave Olivas received his J.D. to practice law in 2011. During his time in law school, he received the MacLean & Boulware Endowed Scholarship, which is given to graduate students who have demonstrated excellent moral character. Before attending law school, he served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Navy Reserves as a Linguist for the past 19 years. After returning from a tour in Afghanistan, he served for over three years in the as a Chief Prosecutor with the Dallas District Attorney’s office where he tried over 40 cases.  His comfort level in the courtroom, experience as a mediator, and negotiation skills are ideal for personal injury cases. Currently, Dave Olivas’s favorite pastimes are art, playing with his children, and games.
